| Help Wanted The art and craft of stone masonry is a very satisfying and rewarding career for the man or woman who is patient, thoughtful, diligent and disciplined. It requires physical strength. You need to be able to lift 50 lbs. Our work is very hard, sometimes requiring 10 hour days. We pay very well either by the hour or by the square foot of work completed (including set up and cleanup). We shield our work from the elements to avoid lost time due to weather. Since medieval times, stone structures have denoted wealth . It was an impenetrable, fitted work that could not be mass produced. Even to this day it cannot be mass produced if each stone is fitted to its neighbors with skill. It is the most enduring of the building materials. Our work is dirty. It requires the use of hammers, chisels and various grinding and cutting tools to shape rough stone into finished form. We work on scaffolding at varying heights depending upon job requirements.
